The City Emblem

Design Explanation

The design both represents the brilliance of the city, its freshness and health through the character ’糸’ (‘ito’) from the name Itoigawa, and expresses city interaction. It also paints a picture of a full, healthy and bright urban development as expressed through the strength of three pillars-a grand nature, a citizen-focused administration and corporate enterprise.
